PLANT CARE

Don’ts :

Check the plant regularly for signs of infestation, and treat with insecticidal soap or neem oil if necessary.

Duranta plants prefer bright, indirect light, but can be sensitive to direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight can cause leaf burn and damage the plant

Duranta plants can grow quite large, and overcrowding can stunt their growth and reduce their ability to produce flowers. Make sure to provide enough space for the plant to grow and prune it as needed to control its size.

Too much sunlight exposure can cause sunburn on the leaves/stem. Provide shade or move the plant to a less sunny spot if you notice signs of sunburn.

Delay in repotting could lead to stunted growth or root damage. Report your plants whenever needed.

Don't overwater your plants. Overwatering can lead to root rot, which can kill your plants.

Don’t forget to dust your plants regularly. Dust and debris can accumulate on the leaves of your plants, blocking their pores and reducing their ability to photosynthesize. Use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe the leaves of your plants regularly.

Don't ignore signs of pests or disease. If you notice any unusual spots, discoloration, or pests on your plants, take action immediately to prevent further damage.

Don't fertilize your plants too often or with the wrong type of fertilizer. Over-fertilizing can cause nutrient burn and damage

Do’s :

Keep them in warm temperatures between 18-32°C. Keep your plant away from cold drafts or air conditioning vents.

Duranta plants need a moderate level of humidity to survive. If you live in a dry climate, mist them more frequently

Duranta plants need bright, indirect light to thrive. Place them near a window or under a skylight, but avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.

Place them near a fan or in a location with good air movement.

Selective pruning can promote branching and encourage more blooms.

Use natural pest control methods like neem oil or insecticidal soap.

Feed Plant with organic fertilizer once in every three to four months.

Pot Container should have a hole at the bottom to drain excess water

You can remove the dead, infected flowers and damaged leaves.

Rotating your plants every few weeks will help ensure that all parts of the plant get equal amounts of light and will prevent them from growing lopsided.

Put about three inches of mulch around the plant to keep the roots cool and moist water when top soil (1-2 inches) feels dry to touch.
